This webinar will provide background on the recently obtained internal IRS policy memorandum* that sheds light on how the IRS approaches valuing S corps and what you need to consider when preparing an S corp valuation. This new memorandum recommends that consideration be given to both Revenue Ruling 59-60 and the IRS S Corp Job Aid.

*Internal IRS policy memorandum between the Director of Large Business and International (LB&I) Field Office Operations, Engineering (IRS Business Valuers), and the Director of Small Business Self Employed (SBSE) Specialty Examination Policy and Quality (where the IRS Estate and Gift [E&G] Tax Program is located).
